SINGLE PILOT CHECK VALVE Model SPC 30L & SPC 50L Model SPC – 30L & SPC – 50L both are simple form of single pilot Check Valves. They are used to lock a cylinder or part of a circuit and to prevent reverse flow until pilot pressure is applied through pilot port. Single pilot check valve is ex- externally piloted. Both are small, highly compact design, light weight and low cost. IMPORTANT FEATURES Valves seats are easily replaceable in all the models thus increasing the service life of the valve. As pilot piston ratio is 4:1, pilot piston requires only 1/4th pressure to unseat check ball to allow reverse flow being trapped in the cylinder by the check ball Pilot piston is damped as oil flows through small orfice, reduces damaging shocks. Delrin seat provides excellent performance at low pressure application also. 100% factory tested, ensures zero leakage. Available with O –ring on Pilot Piston as optional Mostly used in mining, drilling rigs, earth moving equipments, marine equipments and material handling machines.       OPERATION In free flow direction, oil unseats ball and flows valve port V to cylinder port C. When the control valve is centered, the check valve closes the oil positively trapped in the cylinder with a zero leakage. Applying pilot pressure to the pilot port P the damped piston (as the oil flows through orifice piston is damped) moves against the spring loaded check ball and unseats, thus allowing the oil to leave the cylinder. SPECIFICATION MATERIAL: Body, hi-strength wrought aluminium alloy and high graded cast iron. PILOT PISTON: High carbon steel hardened, ground, lapped and balanced. PORTS: All the ports are 3/8 BSP and ½” BSP for model spc-30L and model spc-50L respectively. WORKING TEMPERATURE: 30dC to 90dC. FLOW CAPACITY: 30L for spc-30L model, 50L for spc-50L Model
